Our Story

“Nido” translates to nest in Spanish.  Our Nido is an inviting space for the local community to enjoy delicious, fresh, farm-to-table Mexican food and drinks. Our commitment is to source the best ingredients and make them as tasty as possible. Our influences span Mexico’s central and Pacific coast. Our menu includes small and large plates, and changes seasonally. We love California's produce,so you'll find lots of vegetable dishes on our menu, too.  We source our poultry, pork and beef from producers who raise their animals humanely with no growth hormones or antibiotics. Everything on our menu is made in-house daily, including our famous hand-made corn tortillas and guacamole.

Located on the southern edge of historic Jack London district, Nido is a neighborhood restaurant that also offers a focused liquor program with meticulously selected spirits, beers and wines from near and far.
